On Monday (May 7th, 2007), Priscilla Lim Mei Yi a.k.a. Pris a.k.a Fishilla a.k.a. PrisyFishyLaFa a.k.a. Kuzco turned 19. Yes, the big One-Nine – an important age that marks her last year as a teenager.

Anyone who reads my blog often enough would know that Pris is a named mentioned fairly often here.

We met when I joined HELP’s ADP last January and we’ve been friends since.

Priscilla has truly been a blessing in my life, very capable of making me laugh.

Many people think we look alike. I don’t think so.

I think she looks tons better, she is tons better too.

She was blessed with generosity, kindness, friendliness and does not have a single bad bone in her! Anyone who’s been acquainted with her can see that. She also has a lot of funny habits which include storing used facial blotters in her handbag, licking her elbow, talking in funny languages that only she herself understands, talking to Fuzzy (her very adorable stuffed bear) like he’s a living being (also uses Fuzzy to communicate with other people), her innate ability to assume the role of a dead/dying fish, her love for Kuzco… well, among others la.

Jacks used to ask her (jokingly of course): “Pris, what’s right with you?”
My answer to that question? Everything. Yes, right down to the oily face haha.

I think when God made Pris, He decided He wanted this child to be unlike others.
[so he gave her the ability to lick her elbow and converse in Priscillalanguage ]
He wanted her to be special and unique.
I’m sure He made no other like her.

Last year during difficult periods, you were there for me, definitely cheering me up when needed… aaannddd… helping me with the poster, and offering dinner, and supplying the towelled ice for my.. err.. puffy-after-crying eyes and offering your ear when I needed someone to listen.
This year you planned my very unsuspectingly executed belated birthday surprise (slightly over a month late), equipped with posters around college and even gave me candycanes (with “vote for xinch” tags) to distribute to potential voters during the student council elections.

Truly, you’ve been such a wonderful friend.

I’m thankful that on that fateful day in 1988, you were brought into this world.
You are truly a blessing in the lives of everyone who knows you.
You’ve definitely been a blessing to me.
