HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR!
It’s the year of the Oinkness. This means… it’s the year to oink ! away. I wish lah. I know for a fact this year’s gonna be hectic! To all Oinkers.. this is your oinkin year so enjoy!
I could type out a really long blogpost detailling everything I did back home in Penang during the CNY holidays but… I’ll do that only after I get all the pictures back. Been back in KL since Thursday and what’s new in my life? Nothing much really. I only have one resolution to add to my already very long list (it’s CNY. Technically, for the Chinese, it’s the new year! So resolutionmaking is still very valid).
Live Healthily
Yes. I desperately need to look after myself! In the past 6 months, I’ve been sick just about a minimum count of once a month. Colds, the Flu, the Fall and the most terrible of all – ACID REFLUX or GERD. Trust me, life really sucks. So… I’ve resolved to eating healthier. More salads during lunchbreaks in college (less Rotiman), more fulfilling dinners (less IndoMees and Williams), more exercise (when my leg decides to grant me relief by healing) and more homecooked meals.
Last night for hours I had Snow Patrol & Martha Wainwright’s “Set Fire to the Third Bar” stuck in my head after Mirness YouTubed their live performance onto Toshio. If you were wondering who Toshio is, he’s my lappie. I’ve taken to naming things out of boredom just now (Sociology is a bore sometimes) and I was torn between Toshio or Stevie for my lappie. But I decided, since it’s Japanese, it deserves a name that’s from its culture (poor thing’s been in Malaysia and my room so long, he needs something closer to his cultural identity!). So Toshio it is!
Now I’ve got “Set Fire to the Third Bar” and “A Lonely September” stuck in my head on repeat. But I’m not complaining too much since they’re really nice songs. I just downloaded The Fray’s “How to Save A Life”. This album’s not too bad really. I first heard their “Unsaid” about.. 3 years ago – I can’t remember – on their Reason EP.
Anyhow, I’m just ranting nonsense now. I know. So..
I know I’m ranting nonsense now so.. toodles
I’ll get back to Sociology.
Oh, and I didnt mean for this to go as far as it did
And I didnt mean to get so close and share what we did
And I didnt mean to fall in love
But I did
And you didn’t mean to love me back
But I know you did

Sociology I love it … at times though it did get boring .. Good to see you are thinking of eating better .. It real is essential especially with the acid reflux ..
All my stomach, intestine and other digestive issues have almost faded away since eating proper food … Good luck with it all
