Change.
Yeah. Life’s like that. As much as you hate it, people change, people leave. This post is not purely about change though. Ghee’s heading to Hong Kong. Among all, he and Shao Thing have been more dependable presences here in Penang, seeing that they’ve stayed back two years for Form 6 compared to the rest who’ve already flocked off to various corners of the earth. Now Shao Thing’s in Japan, and Ghee’s heading to Hong Kong. Haih. Life sucks. Change sucks. But it’s inevitable, no? Eventually, everyone will go their own separate ways, live their own separate lives. One day, we’re all gonna have families of our own. Maybe we’ll have children who take up every single second of our time. Maybe have overpossessive and easily jealous spouses and we won’t be able to communicate as freely as we do now. Maybe we won’t even be able to communicate at all! I never want to lose contact with some friends. Male or female, I never want to lose contact with them.
I hope that never changes.
