Cameron Highlands — CF Camp

It’s been.. what? 3-4 weeks since camp? And I haven’t updated. Anyhoo.. I already more or less wrote some stuff out and since I can’t remember most of the details right now, I’ll give you highlights and photos from my old, but trusty Olympus mju camera.

DAY ONE
Highlights

1. Bus came an hour late
2. We found out that JamesQ did not mention the obscenely tiring hike up to Highlands Christian Center. Poor guys had to lug up all the instruments and equipment on top of their luggage!
3. HCC dorm was absolutely gorgeous and homey!
4. I belonged to GoldenGateBridge.
5. I was more blur than Pris during icebreaker! I kept calling Jeremy, Nigel ,and Nigel, Jeremy.
6. Ken Ming’s RM13.50 fish and chips consisted of 2-3 mini Tescofrozenfood pieces of battered fish and approximately 15 pieces of french fries.
7. We met our speaker, Uncle Vincent Pee (yes.. it’s Pee. I did not spell it wrongly!)
8. HCC caretakers are good cooks.. and I mean good.
9. Our main theme talk for camp was ‘unity’.
10. Camp committee was really strict when it came to bedtimes.

DAY TWO
Highlights

1. Awoke like a zombie at 7am.
2. It was freezing
3. Breakfast, as usual – YUM
4. Marcus decided to give us a mini exercise-wake-up-call-cum-taichi-session that was really ridiculous
5. Icebreaker games again
6. *paiseh* I was so sleepy during Theme Talk
7. Lunch and then downtown!
8. Me and Pris can get quite crazy singing songs and crossing the road.
9. Pris got a pacifier from her Angel (Wan Ling) =.=” that has to be the most apt gift ever. She was so cute, walking around HCC with the pacifier, exclaiming how much she loves her angel
10. King got a set of toy guns and toy darts from his Angel (Joshua C.). Damn so cute.
11. Kevin K. has a bunch of *nasty of me* very la la admirers who decided to giggle, squeal and grab him for a photo session — without permission!
12. S.K. Convent in Cameron Highlands has a signboard that reads: AWAS! Anda berada di kawasan Pelajar Cemerlang!!=.=”
13. That fish and chips place? They have GREAT cream scones.. *drool*
14. As usual, we cannot be punctual
15. Captain ball can be a really really dangerous game. The Jeremy-JamesW collision was highlight of all the game. Not forgetting the fact that OonYow that big thing he is almost almost squished poor Krys flat like a bug.
16. Me, Krys and Pris can be quite lunatics when put together.
17. Durians were purchased *greedy smile*
18. Once more – HCC caretakers can COOK!
19. TalentTime… Priscilla’s Fishilla act stole the show! Not forgetting London Bridge’s emo masterpiece featuring Jamie as tortured girl and Paul as Jesus. Tearjerker – trust me.
20. Heated debate regarding worship music and rock music during theme talk.
21. Durians session rocked! *YUM* I love Cameron durians
22. Krys and me stayed up till 3am talking…

DAY THREE
Highlights

1. Wake at 7am again :S
2. Breakfast was positively nummy again.
3. Everyone starts to camwhore
4. Theme talk and Worship was a very sleepy affair
5. Nigel , being the bad bad bad mortal he is, had to spell Mississippi with his butt.. or rather, Pris thought it was Mississippi. So adorable.
6. Unveiling of Angels and Mortals game.
7. Punishment of the bad bad bad angels – OonYow (mortal: Jamie), Alvin (mortal: Kevin K.), Huay Ming (mortal: Julian), Aaron (mortal:… ?? cannot recall). Punishment for guys included watermelons and their heads.. and Marcus.
8. Prize-giving and more camwhoring
9. Lunch
10. Photosphotosphotosphotosgalore!
11. Bus back
12. Bus tyre punctured.. it was a smokey, burny affair
13. I felt nauseous
14. Poor Arthur fell asleep in KFC while ordering!!
15. Got to HCC at approximately 6something pm
